Audio GuideVIALAND Tema Park
Theme park featuring amusement rides for all ages & a shopping center with dining & entertainment.
When you arrive at Vialand, you feel the energy of modern Istanbul mixed with excitement, lights, and lively crowds. This is not just a theme park; it is a symbol of a new era in Turkish entertainment, built on a vast site that once bore the name İsfanbul. When it opened in the spring of two thousand thirteen, Vialand made history as the country’s first true theme park. It marked a turning point for local tourism, drawing visitors from across Turkey and the world to experience something fresh and bold, right at the meeting point of the Eyüpsultan and Gaziosmanpaşa districts.
Over the years, the park’s name has changed — first known as Vialand, then İsfanbul, and returning to the Vialand name in two thousand twenty-two. These shifts reflect changes in ownership and a desire to keep the park’s identity international and memorable.
Vialand stands out for its impressive scale and unique design. Spread over roughly six hundred thousand square meters, it neatly combines a theme park, a shopping center, a hotel, and a large show arena. There are distinct areas: one full of thrilling rides, another with open-air shops and inviting restaurants, a massive concert venue, and parking for several thousand cars. The architecture mixes robust concrete and steel with open green spaces, crafted by teams of architects and engineers who aimed to create an immersive world for all ages.
Construction began just after two thousand ten, and when Vialand opened in two thousand thirteen, it changed the local entertainment scene. The main show arena hosts concerts by famous performers, both Turkish and international, filling the air with music and energy during warm Istanbul nights.
