When you step into Vialand, you are instantly swept up by the vibrant spirit of modern Istanbul – the buzz of the crowds, the dazzling lights, and the thrill in the air. This is much more than just an amusement park; it stands as a landmark of contemporary Turkish entertainment, located on an expansive site that was once known as İsfanbul. When Vialand first opened its doors in the spring of two thousand and thirteen, it made history as Turkey’s first genuine theme park, setting a new standard for leisure and tourism. The park became a magnet for visitors from across Turkey and beyond, eager to experience something innovative and exciting at the crossroads of the Eyüpsultan and Gaziosmanpaşa districts.

Throughout its history, the park has seen several name changes – initially launched as Vialand, later rebranded as İsfanbul, before reverting to its original name, Vialand, in two thousand and twenty-two. These changes reflect differences in management and a desire to maintain an international image that is easy to remember.

Vialand is striking not only for its sheer size but also for its distinctive design. Spanning nearly six hundred thousand square metres, it brings together a theme park, a shopping mall, a hotel, and a vast event arena. The grounds are divided into separate zones: adrenaline-fuelled rides in one area, open-air shops and cosy restaurants in another, a grand concert space, and parking for several thousand cars. The design blends sturdy concrete and steel with generous green spaces, all carefully planned by teams of architects and engineers to create an immersive world for families and thrill-seekers alike.

Construction began shortly after two thousand and ten, and by the time it opened in two thousand and thirteen, Vialand had already transformed what people expected from entertainment in Istanbul. The main arena regularly welcomes leading Turkish and international artists, filling the summer nights with unforgettable music and atmosphere.
